Yes, it’s been a while since I’ve posted – though if you’ve been following this blog regularly that probably doesn’t come as a surprise. You’ll be pleased to know however that I’ve been spending most of that time watching shows to fuel up for content, and I’ve got a slew of blog posts in the works for your consideration.
But I know you missed me, so here’s a little something to tide you over. Last night I sat down at TV Surveillance (where you may recall I was a guest writer on May’s Test Pilot installment on Sports Night) and joined friend of the blog Cory Barker for a nice long chat about FX’s Sons of Anarchy now that we’re six episodes into the fourth season. Highlights include seeing how much they’ve learned from the mistakes of season three, a SAMCRO death pool, a discussion of the new recurring guest stars (one of whom I may have compared to a Batman villain) and a ringing endorsement of FX’s smartphone apps. It was a lot of fun to do, and I think it should be fun to listen to as well.
You can listen to that installment over at TV Surveillance or subscribe to the podcast on iTunes (which I endorse even more than FX’s smartphone apps).
For a little pre-podcast content, you can also read Cory’s review of the Season 4 premiere here, and you can read my reviews of the first three episodes “Out,” “Booster” and “Dorylus” on this very website.
